Human rights are moral values or norms that govern certain standards of human behaviour and are routinely guaranteed by both local and international law. They are widely regarded as inalienable, universal rights "to which a person is necessarily entitled simply because she or he is a human being" and "inherent in all human beings," regardless of age, ethnic origin, place, language, faith, race, or any other status. They are universal in the sense that they apply anywhere and at any time, and they are inclusive in the sense that they are the same for all.
